I've only reread a couple. Ghost Story by Peter Straub and I am re reading the Malazan series so I can finish the last three books without being too lost.
Generally I enjoy the experience of reading a new story and rereading I end up a bit bored.
Yes. 7 years. I stopped because I was a horrendous binge drinker.
The first year was the most challenging but after about 18 months I was able to have a non alcoholic beer once in a while to take the edge off.
I would say I get the urge maybe once or twice a year now but it's more of a 'Oooh, that would be nice' but I know it's a slippery slope back if I do have one.
Overall, much happier and I wish I'd stopped sooner but I can't change the past.
I take a timed, twenty minute nap.
Under the sheets. Undressed.
And just let me mind wander wherever it wants.
I've found that generally I don't often fall asleep but am just on the cusp when the alarm goes off but I feel more rested from that than when I wake in the morning after a 'full nights sleep'.
I'm apatheistic when it comes to if there is a god and/or gods and I actively dislike all organised religion.
Religion has no place in modern society and causes so much suffering.
It's time has been and gone.
I most definitely agree. I really want my 3.5 back as I do not like wireless ear buds, too damned fiddly and I know I will misplace one. Give me a £20 pair of House of Marley and I am good to go.
I wouldn't necessarily say I am enjoying the internet more but I am using it less, especially the doom scrolling but to be fair I've hardly used much since April and have been watching Star Trek and reading since April instead.
I've noticed an improvement in my mental health overall and I really like how Beehaw operates Vs Reddit with the more polite discussions. Definitely has a positive impact.
What an absolute cunt of a human being.
