Yah. Pearl Jam spent years in limbo because they thought everyone would join the fight. But no big name artists ever did because no one wanted to rock the boat. During COVID ticketmaster / clear channel/liveNation/ iHeartRadio whatever have continued to consolidate. They own the tickets they own the resell websites they own most of the big venues they can demand merch sales at the venue. If you refuse they can remove you from playing their venues.
At this point it would take 10+ huge artists to final kill this beast. We are talking Taylor Swift / Beyonce big that actually have complete creative control. I don't even think most top artists have that. They would have to organize everything and they would probably lose union contracts for stage craft and audio, lights, transportation. Basically they would have to start their own ticket & touring companys that outdoor fields and sports areas? and would have to stick it out for years and convince a good majority to stop buying tickets from any place using Ticketmaster.
Hate the devaluation of movies. Movies deserve a decent run in the theaters. Even the biggest movies are now vod in a few weeks. The studios are training people to skip the theater with vod a few weeks later. It'll be the end of theatres if they keep this up.
This is one of the saddest stories in gaming. Author was depressed and friends help him create a game. Game is considered one of the greatest games ever created only the publisher screws original team out of the rights to the game mimicking the exact type of short sighted bullshit that creatives have to deal within the Disco Elysium world.
Oh yah. Glad you liked it. The game is a masterpiece. I keep trying to get people to play it and everyone has the same reaction. "Sure sure, I'll check it out..." they don't understand how special it really is. Despite being like 95% positive and getting rave reviews from everyone. I did get a writer friend to play it and she couldn't believe how amazing the writting was. I think it really changed her mind about how video games can be a unique form of writing. I need to start a new game of DE!
Very happy that they dedicated the time but man there still some weird pop in stuff, audio problems, clipping through walls, rough animations. I played yesterday and Claire was just standing in the middle of a car talking in a cut scene. I respect they went real big, but still rough around the edges coming off of Witcher 3.
It's sad to hear but I think we all need more news stories of people dying trying to take photos in nature. While hiking the past 10 years I'm surprised how many people at the top of cliffs are just gathering for selfies. Idk why they don't realize that not going to the absolute edge maybe 5-6 feet away is the exact same photo and tripping backwards wouldn't immediately kill them.
Agreed. I'm sure it will always exist. This is the first hardware issue I've ever had with apple so they have been great overall but it does make me wonder about buying another laptop from them.
Probably because some of the screens are defective. I have one and there are lines though it. I've never done anything to make this happen. I looked it up on apples forums and it appears others have similar issues.
Ok. So measuring is key. If it's not the right amount you can take the oil and mix that with a shelf stable oil to dilute it like MCT oil (coconut fat). Heat that up microwave and put in a mixture you think makes sense. Maybe try 10 to 1. In a dropper container that will give you same amount every time. Make sure to wait a couple hours each time you try. Don't ever get impatient while you are trying to find the right mix. If 10:1 doesn't work heat it up and add a little more now you have 6:1 or 4:1. Once you find the proper amount write that down for the future then you'll have a much better time.
With how big and cheap they are and a lot more mounted to the wall I'd be curious how many tvs get left because it's easy to just grab laptops, game systems, etc. It still takes two people to carry those huge thin TVs and they don't really fit in a backpack.
