Such programs for the mega wealthy should be legislated to contribute a percentage of profits to programs for everyday people struggling with addiction challenges. Someone who can afford $600,000 could afford to pay 10% more and this could go community programs. That's my wish.

I think they'd be bits which would be applicable and other bits not. But it might help people think about the various aspects and how it might be adpated to where they live.

Great article. All of us who can should be looking at ways of growing food by ourselves or with others and organising in our communities. The food situation is not going to improve seeing what is happening supply and climate wise. We must ask our state governments, councils and other local authorities and organisations to support, prepare and set up community gardens and similar systems so that at least the most vulnerable (which will increase) have access to fresh food they can afford. We should no longer just see this as niche practice. We are lucky in Australia we still have quite a lot of open space available which we should use for habitat for native species and to grow food.

It certainly is interesting. It may show how flawed the law is.

You forget to mention that Hamas has been funded and seen as an asset by Israel many times to create division among Palestinians and therefore ensuring less of a chance of creating a Palestinian state.

I could write a longer spiel and give you some references but I haven't got the time. War is horror. Those who pay the worst price are the innocent children, women and men who just want to live their lives as you no doubt do. Plants are staples for everyone. The so-called Western diet, despite it being so meat-centric, still relies heavily on wheat, soy and corn in the form of bread and as components of processed foods. In developing countries legumes, nuts and seeds are major sources of protein. In India, practicing Hindus in their millions are vegetarian and rely on legumes and dairy for their protein.

I think your last point about the faulty one CBD model was already recognised long ago. Sydney has 3 major business/admin centres: city centre, North Sydney and Parramatta. I haven't lived in Sydney for a while so there may be more for all I know. There's probably similar set ups in other cities but I don't personally know.
