I work for an organization that had job corps students as interns and it was pretty devastating when the news about job corps closing broke. Especially since many of our interns had nowhere to go and were going to be homeless. Truly a “fuck them kids” moment

Are you meant to know from the beginning that they aren’t actually in the good place? I’ve seen enough episodes of “The Twilight Zone” to know that if someone tells you that you’re in the “good place” then you are absolutely not in the “good place”. With this knowledge I felt that I couldn't take it even the amount of seriously that it asked.

I was in Los Angeles last week and picked up this Zygo at a local Trader Joe’s. I believe it’s a Debbie Demello “Honolulu Baby”. Beautiful orchid and for the price of $18, carrying it on the plane, and many eye rolls from the wife I think it was absolutely worth the price of admission
Considering how much it costs me to live there why would I want to leave and not get my moneys worth?

Top tip: add in some powdered sugar. In addition to adding some sweetness, powdered sugar has cornstarch in it which will act as a thickener making for a more unctuous mouthfeel
