Is this just a signature check when installing? Could it be bypassed by getting your dev cert and just signing everything you want to install? Things like obtainium and fdroid could even have a "load your own cert" option and automate this.
Dude, writing code is the fun part, reviewing code written by others is time-consuming, difficult and boring. Why would you automate the fun out of coding and force yourself to review even more shit?
My usual place is 250m from my home, or around 3 minutes walking. There's like another 5 supermarkets, 5 bakeries, 4 greengrocers and 3 butchers about 500 meters away (off the top of my head, there could be more).
It depends. Do you want to play witch 2 exclusives and don't have a pc? Then switch 2, you don't have an option there.
Do you want to play 3rd party games or nintendo preswitch (and actually some switch games too)? Deck, the games will be cheaper, you can buy bundles, you won't have to pay for online, you can install from steam, gog, epic, etc. It's a pc.
As you already have a switch, I'd wait on the 2 if you don't need to play MK World right now. If you wish you could play PC and older console games on the go get a deck (I did and it's great) but if you don't care much about the PC backlog you can just wait until the 2 has some more exclusives our and/or you cand find it cheaper. I'm currently revisiting some PS2 games alongside newer indie titles and it's very cool.
Did the rest of your books, local library and internet connection burn in a freak accident? Why couldn't you just read anything else, which would also likely be better?
Eh, I don't know. I've worked developing software for the administration and their computer use is just the applications (web or native) they had built to perform their tasks. The OS is very irrelevant to them, some orgs even had shortcuts to these native programs put in their intranet, back in the days of java applets.
Nah, not really, it's only shit if you only play AAA suit-driven slop. There's a ton of awesome games being released and the older ones are still there to (re) play.
Everyone should get out now because Plex has started to ruin things and you should seek alternatives now, while you have time, and not wait until they finish shitting the bed.
And no, jellyfin won't do anything like this because they don't have control over how you use it and don't force their cloud on you.
