BioShock Infinite was a linear shooter that was closer in level design to Half-life, while 1 and 2 were immersive sims which aren't comparable to open world games like GTA.
Large sections will remain above sea level, but Miami is fucked, and arguably before it ever becomes underwater. Sea water creep ruins fresh water sources far further inland than it submerges them, while the Peninsula shape causes most of the state within 50 miles of the ocean. On top of that, hurricanes have already caused neighborhoods to become abandoned, as there isn't the money or will to rebuild something that'll just end up destroyed again. As infrastructure gets ruined and people flee, the state will not have the ability to maintain itself. Florida will go from one of the most populus states to an Oklahoma sized one.
The Elder Scrolls does this too. You increase skills through use which increases their effectiveness (damage for melee skills). Even when leveling up has a menu for attribute allocations, the skills are mostly automatic.
Or maybe: suffering does not have meaning beyond a mechanical system of blood sacrifice. We age and die so the genes survive better, not to make us wiser or happier. We're just tools to it, not unique individuals with meaning to some benevolent order. It's a fucked system that gives people gender dysphoria because the pattern just happened to propagate. If we choose to think that this world cares for us, then we justify its inequities as moral and just simply because they are; simply because they're "natural."
There are no comforting external truths and the only palatable meaning that exists is what we invent to make ourselves feel better. There is nothing stopping anyone from believing whatever helps them sleep at night, but such beliefs will never be above manipulation by selfish interests. In fact, our need for comforting beliefs are part of the reason why we'll be stuck with war, bigotry, and hierarchy till the end of time. We struggle to accept the inherent nihilism of a world that simply just is. We struggle to divorce what ought to be from what is.

Gosh, why are people falling for this copium? Conservative outrage about Epstein will end up being a nothingburger, not changing the minds of anyone on the right. They never actually cared about "grooming," and never will. The evidence of this is old and stale, so don't think for a second that the rate of people waking up to conservative lies will change from this. The economy is what will change minds, not the indisputable fact that pedophilia is acceptable on the right.
If only Israel had spent all these years empowering the people asking for coexistence rather than helping Hamas seem like the Palestinian's only option. Maybe then they could've prevented October 7th and saved their own people over the glory of an ethnostate.
