Steam only allows 5MB uploads. Reddit 20MB, but they recompress so you don't get what you upload. rimworld.gallery allows an absolute max of 35MB, the goal is 30MB, which this comparison is. If you look closely there's much less artifacts/clutter in the flagstone, the progress bar, the red in the ovens, everywhere really

Very nice post! 30MB on the spot, look how crisp the details are compared to reddit, not to mention steam. I've made a comparison based on your colony.

Have you tried loading it vanilla?

Looks good. Early versions would really slow down if there were items (e.g. raw foods) on the map with nowhere to store them. My theory being that every tick the game would try to find a place to store the things. This seems still to be the case. So having enough storage space is more important than minimizing it.

Render: Playing Lenla with all DLC. I believe my second village so 5yo. Forgot to check storyteller settings

Aftermath

Threat size relative to faction wealth would probably make the raids on fresh tile unplayable. The difficulty curve however would be a good thing to have drastically shortened, let's say to a week instead of several years. So only on the first few days you'd have it relatively easy

You can create farming or mining colonies, if you need a lot of resources for whatever you're building. Some people simply like the challenge of running multiple colonies at the same time

Indeed, all these guys do is chop wood and set up traps all day long. I use the blueprints mod so for me it was less work
