Technically it doesn't. However, renders like this are supposed to go in @rimworldporn . I'm sorry for all the confusion. You can post as many screenshots like this one (not full size renders) here as you like. Renders like the one you've posted here, you may post one for each colony once in a while, in @rimworldporn
Great work! I always fail at stockpiling, which is why I mostly play year round summer tiles. If you want to post more updates on your colony, please do, but regular screenshots in https://rimworld.gallery/m/rimworld@lemmy.world . You may link to those posts from the comments here. Let's say you can upload a render of the same colony here at max every 10 days, or a final one when you're finished. Thanks for posting!
Please remove this post as it's not confirm rule 4. Thanks
They are surrounded by deep water, cannot escape, cannot be attacked. They started with only just enough steel and components to get comms going and some aircon in this harsh tropical rain forest. Outside the dome people come to watch them constantly, although they are mostly killing eachother and the animals that wouldn't mind having them as a snack
Thanks for posting again, a big improvement! Next time even some more surrounding terrain would be nice, but this is ok. Looking at your title you seem to be planning to make some kind of blog about your colony. Please read rule 4 and you'll see it's not allowed to place a render of your same colony as a main post frequently on this magazine. You may do so in the comments of this post, or in the Rimworld magazine. Also please make your title a bit more descriptive (rule 3)
Thanks for taking the time to post again, it's a very nice colony. I see you have a stash of stone chunks on the Eastern bridge. If you're using them to slow down your enemy, it only works once so having a row of 1 or 5 chunks has the same slowdown effect. It works better when you make it multiple rows as then the slowdown occurs multiple times
I'm going to remove this as it's not 'modest' self promotion
Nice colony!
Does the amount of vents you use in the bedrooms improve the heat distribution?
Sorry for only replying now, but indeed, they are based on that mechanic. Having many corpses at the edge of the map could trigger social fights etc in raider groups at the time
Both are vanilla and can be set in the mod settings
What are you trying to link to, it doesn't work. Please elaborate
Afaik there is no such mechanic in the game. Likely you just had bad luck
There's also a clean pathfinding mod
Yep. Didn't realize until I'd already posted on r/rwp so can't edit it anymore
I like to play this every now and then, just to see how it performs. Since 1.5 raids can emerge from the water, which is a weak spot in this colony. My new no water raids mod has knocked that on the head. Oh yeah it's explode on death facepalm
Life is tough on the Rigm
My apologies for not removing the life sim add, I didn't see any reports, I'll look into this, so I'm not instantly removing it but will soon. * it has been deleted and user is banned

I did a void provocation and kept my colonists grouped together. Then traders arrived and the revenant spawned inside the area of my proximity detector
