I've been told that this is because the population is largely completely politically apathetic, owing to a belief that they aren't able to meaningfully affect political change. So they don't engage, and the existing political structures basically persist on inertia, which feeds back into their belief that things can't change. It's finally gotten bad enough for people to start trying, but of course angry people tend to vote for racists, because racism provides an easy answer for problems.

I think the fact that paint markers (including Gundam Markers) are alcohol-based needs to be emphasized, because it means that using them on top of anything else will just ruin everything. You might be able to get away with it if you use the Gundam Marker airbrush adapter and stick with light coats, but as a general rule of thumb paint markers should be your base if you plan on doing multiple layers.

Right?! Like, this is literally the only Wing Zero kit that doesn't have pivoting wing binders. Even the very first kit, the 1/144 NG from 1995, still does it using a ball and socket joint. I mean, yes, okay those are all TV Wing Zero rather than EW Proto Zero, but the Proto Zero is otherwise almost a straight 1 to 1 port of the TV Wing Zero. It's basically aesthetically completely identical after accounting for the supermodel legs, with the only real difference being how the feet transform for Neo Bird Mode.
