I honestly didn’t even notice Mundi in The Acolyte. Death threats for an edit on a wiki is beyond ridiculous regardless of how you feel about the show, Disney, etc.

I think it depends on how quick they go to home media. There aren’t many movies these days that I have to absolutely see right away and can’t wait for a home release that’s not a rental, so the time spent in the theater has no relevance to me. I also go to small mom and pop theaters that charge $5-$6 per ticket even with day one releases. I can’t remember the last movie I saw in theaters that was an opening weekend except the 25th anniversary of The Phantom Menace, and that doesn’t count.

Edit: I just looked it up. I’m pretty sure TMNT: Mutant Mayhem was the last movie I saw in theaters besides TPM 25, and it was opening weekend.

August 29. That’s pretty cool. August 29, 1997 was the original Judgment Day. A little disappointed John and Sarah Connor and the T-800 aren’t going to be in it, but I’ll see how it goes.

Edit: looks like it was announced in 2016 and started filming in 2022. That’s probably why I was thinking it was supposed to come out so long ago.

I tried watching the remake of The Lion King a few years ago. I didn’t make it through the first song. I wish Disney would try something new instead of reboots, remakes, sequels, prequels, and spinoffs.

I’m not familiar with this character, so I was confused and thought this was a series about Kyle’s Human Kite from South Park.

I’d pay to see that. I recently started watching The Critic on Tubi and I love it.

This is one of those movies I’m not holding my breath for. They’ve talked about rebooting/remaking it for so long. On the bright side, I hope this motivates Brian May to finally finish the Highlander soundtrack he was working on in the 2000s.

Also I hope they keep the Queen songs by Queen.

I hope the remaster gets ported to Xbox. I’ve wanted to play this game for a long time.

That’s a good question. I think I’ll take a sequel 40 years later over an awful remake that’s bound to change a lot of the original story.

I’m not automatically against sequels, but do we really need a sequel to a 40 year old movie?

This almost sounds like a joke. Not what I expected for the M3GAN series. Also the title bothers me. I hate when people add a “T” after 8 in a word. Shouldn’t it be SOULM8? Looks like Soulmatey. 😂

I agree! I thought it was A Link to the Past or the Oracle games remastered in the Link’s Awakening style. I didn’t think we’d ever get a game where we played as Zelda!

I think they should move onto different titles than X/XI/XII if the Skywalker Saga is over. And A New Beginning is worse than The Phantom Menace being called The Beginning in its early stages. I hope they change the title.

Yeah, if I remember correctly they’ve said they’ve been working on or have completed a remastered Oracle of Ages/Seasons in the style of Link’s Awakening.

I don’t care much for the show so far (still watching it), but I think review bombing anything is stupid. I hardly ever leave reviews on anything even if I absolutely love it. More than half of my Rate Your Music collection is left unrated.
