A white man redecorated the Whitehouse and the person I responded to went "This Looks like a brown guy redecorated!" I don't think I'm the one who needs to go back to reddit
These seem to be physical disability focused. But I'm a trans girl who is also colorblind. I never felt like my colorblindness was much of a disability, until I started trying to muddle my way through a gender transition.
Figuring out things like makeup and women's clothes is hard enough as it is, but it's especially daunting when you're colorblind.
Yeah, this kind of vague, "kill your local pedophile :)" sentiment is often just an anti-LGBT dogwhistle and makes me uneasy.
If someone is going to post shit like this, and not actively tie it to the very obvious class dynamics of wealthy human traffickers, conservative Christians who promote child marriage, and politicians who protect them (without also being Anti-Semitic), then I just kind of assume it's a thinly veiled call for violence against queer people
I'm colorblind, and I hate people asking me what color things are, unprompted. I get that they're trying to understand, but maybe have a little more tact???
Side note, I never felt like my colorblindness was a disability, until I started going through a gender transition, and it makes me feel so incredibly stuck.
Traditionally yes, but the Democratic Socialists of America, as an organization (and of which Mamdani is a member), has a wide array of internal ideological factions within, that include Reformist Socialists, but also more revolutionary factions like Anarchists, Trotskyists, Marxist-Leninists, etc.
Where's the well regulated militia you Americans scream about
So, one could argue that the well regulated militia in question is constituted by the National Guard, as they nominally are the armed forces of individual States, and can be nationalized under certain circumstances.
Except for the fact that Trump just nationalized the California National Guard when he's nominally not supposed to....
So I'm a relatively young and healthy person. Im lucky enough to live in a city with an extensive parks system, and go hiking very regularly.
I find that it's fun, enjoyable and invigorating because I'm outside, and there are things to see. As a result, the fact that it's exercise becomes secondary.
How are you excercising? Because if it's going to a gym, or walking on a machine... Yeah I'd be miserable too.
If it helps, you see, he was “in government” at the time so he had no choice but to be a shit eating sycophant who told the president whatever he thought he wanted to hear.
"Just following orders" is very famously not a defense for being complicit in a genocide
