I'm having issues with audiobookshelf continuously downloading old, unsubscribed podcasts. No matter how many times I delete them they come back and download hundreds of episodes. Each one also says "no rss feed" when I look for more info so I'm not sure how they are even being downloaded. I have even tried deleting the podcast library and starting over and they still come back. Is there a cache that I can clear?
Florisboard is what im currently using and its still missing spelling corrections and suggestions which makes it really hard to reccomend. Besides that i really like it. Make sure you go into the haptic settings and turn off "vibrate motor directly", the system haptics for most devices is much better than the mushy ones enabled by default.
Edit: sorry, don't think that's really what you were asking for. On liftoff if I open in browser it does open this post on your instance though, this is the URL I get: https://lemmy.frozeninferno.xyz/post/1039227
You can format the link like this, it should open on your instance. Not sure if it will open in your app though.
Yep you can even set up your Android phone as its own server. Been working like a charm for me.

Ugh, I don't know why but I find Discord incredibly confusing to use. I've joined plenty of different communities for game mods and android development and I can never find anything that I'm looking for. The UI is so busy and anything useful that gets posted is quicky pushed out of the way for comments. I really don't understand how a reddit community would be able to move there in the first place.
Ah that makes sense. I've only seen charcuterie boards that have the trays carved into the wood. Either way, it works!
Yeah it's exactly what I was looking for! The one I'm currently using was actually the only cutting board that was big enough in the store that I was in, so it has goofy cookings decals all over it 😂
For fap desk you really want silicone
I think that would be friendica. I haven't tried it but it uses the ActivityPub protocol so you should even be able to interact with lemmy and mastodon.
I needed a "lap desk" or something to put my laptop on, but I wanted it to be low-profile and I could only find a wooden cutting board. Now wooden cutting boards are the only thing I use as lap desks because most actual lap desks I find are super bulky.
Yeah same, it feels like being in a group chat with strangers. I'm glad it's an option for those that want it though.
Oh yeah, I think my friend was asking for this feature also
The worst is the "good night" posts, I find it so cringey.
Posts like: "Can't keep these sleepy eyes open, sweet dreams everyone". It seems like mastodon is for people that love small talk.
I don't think there's a way to get a direct link from pixelfed and lemmy doesn't support html in comments as far as I know. I'd love to be proven wrong though, that would be a useful feature
That's what I was thinking, I've seen pictures on here of chicken bones left on shelves 🤢
I'd rather the bananas...
Whoa the animated icon for this community looks awesome
I think it will get better when search engines start indexing everything. Right now it's pretty hard to find any answers for lemmy outside of lemmy, so I could see how it can be confusing for new users trying to figure it out.
I think OP is including Earth's eventual destruction
Wow that's horrible, I'm sorry that happened to you. I definitely do need a better backup solution but I do at least have multiple copies on multiple external drives. I think I'm gonna ask my family to let me set up a server at someone's house just to have a more stable solution. Great pics though, maybe some of the newer AI upscaling programs could get them close to how they looked before
