N*rcissist is a slur against people with NPD. It originates in pop culture with self help scams that told people their abusive friends and family had NPD. Also the etymology of the word begins with a Greek guy who was put to death by the gods for being asexual, so yikes.

Using ableist slurs on bigots doesn't actually help. It just increases the amount of bigotry in the world and makes minorities feel even more unsafe. You can't "target" an ableist slur to only insult the person who deserves it. It inherently attacks the undeserving as well.

If Ensign Rutherford can hate pears, suffer from brain damage in the line of duty, start liking pears, undergo neurological treatment, and start hating pears again, maybe pears can suck. Generating multiple pictures of the same character is actually pretty hard. For example, let's say you're making a visual novel with a bunch of anime girls. You spin up your generative AI, and it gives you a great picture of a girl with a good design in a neutral pose. We'll call her Alice. Well, now you need a happy Alice, a sad Alice, a horny Alice, an Alice with her face covered with cum, a nude Alice, and a hyper breast expansion Alice. Getting the AI to recreate Alice, who does not exist in the training data, is going to be very difficult even once.

And all of this is multiplied ten times over if you want granular changes to a character. Let's say you're making a fat fetish game and Alice is supposed to gain weight as the player feeds her. Now you need everything I described, at 10 different weights. You're going to need to be extremely specific with the AI and it's probably going to produce dozens of incorrect pictures for every time it gets it right. Getting it right might just plain be impossible if the AI doesn't understand the assignment well enough.

The word doesn't mean anything in English. I assumed you were speaking Greek because otherwise you'd be babbling like a baby.

Oh, well, it is a slur against disabled people in some dialects of English, I suppose.

The problem with that plan is that the slogan is designed to play into palingenetic ultranationalism.

I remember the important stuff from when I was 4. I liked picture books, computer games, playing on the swing, and hot wheels. We didn't have a computer at home but we had one at school and I liked playing the educational games. Also I tried a pear when I was 4 and I hated it. I still do. Fuck pears!

The word is literally just Greek for mentally ill person. If you hate ps*chopaths, I'm going to assume you hate people for having depression, anxiety, or autism.

In my new community !soulism@lemmy.blahaj.zone, apoliticism is banned. I think that should be the norm. If you join a book club or a queer collective or go to a bar, there should be a sign up on the wall saying no apolitics. Spaces that tolerate apoliticism should be rare. You should have to put in effort to seek them out.

In my country, voting is compulsory, and everyone knows Trump is a rapist despite him being a foreign politician. You Americans gotta increase your political literacy.

Semantic satiation occurs on the order of minutes. But they make it sound like it's happened over months. I think they're trying to change the subject to Palestine for no reason and deny the genocide there. I think their thesis is that those are false allegations, and they have eroded this person's trust in the term.
