  • I bought a pair of boots from a lokal store, then I moved and the zipper broke. I bought the same pair from Amazon and send the broken pair back.

  • I haven't gone out of my way to listen to the radio or watch TV for about 8ish years.

  • My parents tried to fix their stiff guest bed by layering it with another firm mattress. As it turns out, math doesn't work that way; two 'hards' definitely do not make a 'soft'.

  • Pocket knife as a tool and self defense, right front pocket of my jacket. A lighter, I don't smoke but in case I or someone else wants to light something on fire, inside pocket of my jacket. And phone, keys and other stuff but it varies where I store them.

  • For soldering, it's soldering flux Literally translating the german word for it would be soldering fat.

    (Am I not getting a joke here?😅)

  • I have a feather pillow from Ikea that is a few years old at this point and it still fluffs up just as good as the day I got it. I wash it once or twice a year during the warmer months in the washing machine on a gentle cycle with a wool detergent and let it dry outside in the sun while regularly fluffing it and turning it around so it dries evenly and thoroughly.

While I don't like how feathers are harvested I also don't like how pillows with polyester filling get lumpy after a while and need to be replaced or repurposed because they stop providing adequate neck support. I'm crafty and have used pillow fillings for sewing projects and stuff like that, but already one pillow is enough filling for lots of projects and I can't craft enough to repurpose all so inevitably a lot would still end up in the dump.

All the while my parents still have some feather pillows from when I was a child that are still perfectly fluffy. So as log as I take good care of them, they will hopefully last me decades.

  • They are just for flavor not for eating. Can't recommend eating cloves or allspice berries either.

  • You can create new Google accounts via Gmail on a phone (not on desktop) I think you go to settings -> add account and then create new account or something like that

  • I'm watching someone on YouTube renovating an old house and they use it to make out places that leak heat and need better insulation.

  • I recently switched from Windows to Linux and decided on Linux Mint and I've had no problems so far, has pop!_os a lot of benefits over Mint for gaming? But I'm also not exclusively using my Pc for gaming, which is why I chose a disto that seems to be more versatile(?) idk still very new to Linux

  • I'm here since the API stuff on Reddit, haven't posted a lot there, haven't posted a lot here but at least I'm not supporting Reddit through my daily use anymore. Though when I really need some information that I can only find on Reddit I'm not gonna not use it.

  • In my library they also had games, back then that was a literal game changer for me when I discovered they had Sims 2 expansion packs.

  • depends on the breed of chicken it can range from 80 to up to 300 eggs per year

  • That's a horrible idea, I've seen too many cases where this dog just ends up overweight bored and badly behaved. While this can work for some, a lot of people who have trouble getting into any kind of routine (be it fitness, eating habits or whatever) are not going to suddenly change. They maybe start out really motivated, but then they fall into old habits just this time an animal suffers the consequences with them.

  • I absolutely love Dungeon Meshi both openings get me in a cheerful mood. Ranking of Kings also has a beautiful story and the intro gets better the more you know about the story. Both are not particularly 'epic' though.

The intros of Chainsawman, Heavenly Delusion and Dandadan (both of them) are also some of my favorites. Mob Psycho 100 intros (I think all of them) are absolute bangers.

Here is my anime intro playlist
