On the basic mobile website, you go to the sub... community you want to block or even just the comments for a post, expand the side bar button at the top, then hit Block Community.
For example, on this post, I go into these comments, hit Sidebar at the top of the comments, then block community.
Crumple zones. I hate the look, too, but front impact crumple zones are very important, especially in such a monstrously sized vehicle. I just wish they could have sloped it to give better forward visibility.
Yet it is the EPA regulations on emissions by vehicle wheelbase that have led manufacturers to continuously increase size rather than reduce emissions. Great job...
It also assumes there's anything stopping us. I'm annoyed they didn't have a "nothing" option on the poll. I've been loving my Flip 4 and hope they keep making options like it when I eventually wear it down.
A lot of companies used to run company towns. Toyota still does, as far as I know. I wouldn't be surprised if we see a return of that sort of thing with real estate prices getting absurd and companies wanting to drive people back into the office.
I've seen a bunch of lab equipment do this as well. For some, there are firmware hacks available to enable features only available on models twice the price.
That's called PDLC film (polymer-dispersed liquid crystal) and it's a thin layer you can apply to anything. It's literally liquid crystal droplets suspended in a plastic sheet layered between transparent ITO conductors (indium-tin-oxide).
A distinctive feature of panels layered with this is that there must be a bezel along at least one edge through which to run the power. I don't see any in the right places on the doors for these, so nope, these are just clear glass without any PDLC film.
Apparently you can block from within a comments section now. That's slightly safer than going to a community front page...
