  • Some times in life you are just putting one foot in front of the other. Don't focus on the totality of your problems, just look at the small things you can do to work those problems down. When something good happens, make sure to recognize it and think back on it when you're down. You don't beat this feeling all at once, you chip away a bit at a time and eventually find yourself in a better place.

  • I just installed Mint the other day. I was pussy footing around with trying to create a persistent USB drive but the bootloader was fighting me. I finally just hovered over the "wipe drive and install" button for a while before I finally clicked and let it rip. Never again M$.

  • I don't wanna sound old here, but I finally watched that thing a couple days ago and boy did I feel my age there. Clearly I've lived long enough that a whole movie failed to connect with me on any level. I mean it has Jack Black in it and I adore him. I guess what I'm saying is I have no idea how to fix your kid because they're a different people now.

However , the classic old group defense against young slang is taking it up and enthusiastically using it wrong. So enjoy your hot poultry song.

And that right there is a bull North American common house fly, probably pushing 14 milligrams, trapped in the mucusy clutches of my cape sundew.

Update on my favorite gnat control method. Cape Sundew have beautiful little flowers and produce tons of seeds which will sprout easily.

My universal gnat advice: get a cape sundew, put it in a plastic tray of distilled/RO water on a sunny windowsill, finally enjoy seeing a plant covered in gnats.

This random picture of my kitchen window is evoking the junglecore aesthetic I like.
