The aim of the movie would be to be interesting for the general population, for people who actually watch F1, I can almost guarantee the movie will be terrible because of how many thigns they will get completely wrong
I was wondering if that was some AR thing just for the TV audience.
It seemed way too crisp and clear a picture from those screens which are for the people in the stands. I caught glimpses of the other screens and they didnโt look that clear. Plus every time it was on it showed that exact same moment with the date each and every time.
Yeah once you start noticing the digital ads, it gets super annoying super fast. Like in Monaco with the big "screen" in the tunnel, it looked so obviously fake.
The tracking often isn't perfect and you can see things like heat haze being cut off by the ads. There are so many ads on screen, once you notice it.
I think Russell was keeping heat in his tyres by braking hard and accelerating again. Verstappen was just following at a constant speed and was caught out a bit by what Russell was doing.
Russell absolutely tried to get a penalty for Max. It's pretty obvious from his driver cam. You don't drive up the ass of the safety car, signal them to go faster and then slow down when the safety car speeds up.
Bit harsh defending from Piastri against his teammate, but the crash was 100% on Norris. Good on him that he was quick to recognize it though, a lot of drivers wouldโve been a lot less nice on the radio after that
In order to do a 1 stop, you'd need to make it at least 45 laps on a hard. LeClerc and Albion are being crazy wanting a1stop when everyone's getting more deg than they expected.
Also, I think Norris couldโve easily gotten the podium (or at least P4) if theyโd just pitted later for mediums to pull off the one stop. He wasnโt dropping much lap time before both of his stops
Hopefully Russell can at least hold on to a podium. With how high Mercs are starting it feels like they can only drop down, I doubt they can match McLarens and Max.
