Well, it's solid FTB modpack, with cool quest, some custom systems(like their system for trade) and so on. Overall experience is great. FTB modpacks in general are great experience, would recommend any of them.

Also it's useful for your average Joe. Joe don't want to mess with his system, so immutability is his additional layer of security. It's not thing for tinkerers, it's meant to be same base on every system, and everything else is container.
Mostly Carcasson or Munchkin if everyone is up to some long(relatively) games. If we talking about short sessions, Red7 is a fun card game.
Currently - FTB skies, i guess it's pretty main stream one. Also would recommend SevTech: Ages(ATLauncher).
Well, that's exactly why people like me and OP want normal, like, built with GTK/QT, linux client. It's more lightweight and more integrated to system.
Yeah, i think reddit model is perfect balance between recommended content and what you are subscribed to. Glad things like this now in fediverse too.
