For me it’s Al Gore losing that was definitely a start of some kind of fall. I know people point to Reagan often, but for me it’s Bush winning and starting all those wars.

Par contre, il notait des retards vaccinaux chez les tout-petits et certaines populations adultes. Pour l’instant, le Québec n’est pas aux prises avec une explosion du nombre de cas. En Ontario, 84 nouveaux cas de rougeole ont été déclarés au cours des deux dernières semaines, soit près du double du nombre total de cas dans la province depuis le début de l’épidémie à l’automne.

I thought the same!! I’m in environmental public health and seeing stats like this makes me pissed. How much progress we are losing to false information, lies and propaganda is absurd. I get that with a cost of living crisis it’s harder for some people to care when they can’t eat or pay their rent, but urgh
That could be what comes out of it, but I just fear that they sign the papers, companies buy up the land to have rights to mine those minerals and then they wait until Russia wins. Cause if Trump and Putin are buddies, then they could still have those mineral rights after the war in the worst case scenario.

In theory that’s not too far fetched. But they are already American companies operating in Ukraine and that has never stopped Russia from bombing Ukraine. I doubt it works as a deterrent.
It’s sad how most of the DNC just abandoned everything the second after the election was done. I get they don’t have the house/senate, but holy shit this is though to watch from up North in Canada.

I agree that it took so long to make it seem « not bad ». I wonder how it was perceived by societies where they write from the right to the left like Hebrew or Arabic. This would be crazy, but I even wonder if right handed people could have been the ones that were attacked by the religion or it was only a catholic phenomenon.
Before the 60s, in most Catholic societies, writing with your left hand was seen as a sign of the devil and unchristian. It was thus punished very often. I heard stories in Québec (Canada) where people would be beaten their left hand until there was blood with a wooden ruler. It’s frankly horrible and someone I know did show her scars from being beaten so often.

With the sales numbers Tesla currently has, it’s P/E ratio will probably get worst and less revenue will eventually bring the stocks’ price down. That is if markets start being rational about this company and they haven’t been since 2018 for $TSLA. I can’t wait for this company to crash and burn.
Was also about to comment this. Amazon already has the money from the gift card purchase. Not spending it would technically leave Amazon with more profits. Try to find Canadian products there and use only the money from the gift card. Thanks for doing that : )
