  • Same. For me it's not about the money but the service and experience. I wouldn't mind buying a blu-ray and ripping it but I'm not going to subscribe to some service, log in, and use their app to watch a single show or movie because I find that whole process to be a chore.

  • It seems pretty cut and dry to me. He was the victim of an insanely overzealous investigation to the point that they were literally following him around everywhere and even got his girlfriend to turn on him. There have been numerous other people that have gone for the same reason previously. The second guy they tried to pin the anthrax mail killings on from the early 2000s suffered the exact same fate as one notable example.

  • Yeah I luckily already have a 4 port hub and cable so I only needed the power supply, but did notice both their AMS kits were sold out despite them having plenty of AMS and AMS 2 still for sale with their black Friday deals going on. Seems like someone in their stock department screwed up on quantities or they should sell the AMS with the kits included and have a separate SKU for AMS without the adapter kit for those people ordering multiple AMS.

  • I haven't tried the filament cutter mods so I cant answer that but haven't had a problem with my cardboard spools (Overture, Polymaker) outside of needing the rings to keep the cardboard from shredding.

A weight or desiccant pod insert couldn't hurt, but I only ever run into this issue with my 250g spools with printed adapters since they're so light with a long 'lever arm' from the center of the spool to the edge.

Also the only way to read remaining filament is if you add a Bambu RFID tag to the spool as this is what it uses to measure (counting how quickly the tag is spinning versus how much filament it has pulled).

  • On the P1S its a couple of connectors and two Allen screws (assuming you have a fully assembled hot end to swap in). On the X1C its the same but three connectors. The new P2S is coming with a quick swap nozzle feature which would definitely be worth it if you plan on buying one of their printers.

  • I'm so right there with you and know several people in the same boat. We all got so sick of tinkering and still having a high percentage of failures to the point that it became a chore, but now its as simple as slicing and waiting.

I've put 2800 hours on my X1C in the last 18 months and have had to do only one repair and have had maybe 10 failed prints mostly from adhesion issues. It's been good enough that I've been able to create a side hustle and just bought a P1S during the Black Friday sale to pump out more volume.

I'm not exactly happy about their recent changes but even if you don't like Bambu, you have to hand it to them for knocking the ball out of the park and forcing everyone else to match their quality.

  • The limits were on the plants themselves, I believe something like >3% THC, but companies were then able to concentrate the THC and sell it legally. Even in places like ND where I have family and weed is completely illegal, you can buy these delta 9 products.

  • Volume aside, I find Billboard charts equivalent to JD Power awards as they've always been rigged via payola schemes and the fact that nearly the entire nation's radio stations are owned by a single company iHeartRadio/Clear Channel. The music industry is picking winners and losers not the listening public.

This may be different with streaming but that platform makes it really easy to rig the system with bots.
