Wife and I discussing about a piece of furniture on Facebook marketplace.
The listing has a photo of their dog. So I joked about buying said dog.
Went out, came back unable to unlock my laptop despite typing in correct password. Noticed that some of my keystrokes are not registering.
Looks like one of the cats managed to strategically position themselves on the keyboard just right to activate the filter keys prompt and the "yes" button on it.
Sorry to hear.. :(
Is putting a chair back to the door help at all?
It's still raining here from Carlton through to Essendon, light rain.
Thanks:) you're right about the microwave... Will go with a cheap one then, since all we do is heat food, never used the fancy features.
Thanks Just_kitten, will check out cheap options for microwaves. For washing machines, Bosch seems popular here so I'll go with that, and avoid Beko π
After having alarms go off due to someone cooking so many times, I simply ignore the alarm my apartment building.
What's the recommended brand for a washing machine (front loading) and microwave oven?
Best value for money, and looking at $200 for the microwave, probably $700 for the washer. Not a hard budget though.
I am having this strange phenomenon, where:
-
If I think I need my laptop and bring it with me, but then not end up using it.
-
If I think I don't need my laptop and left it home, then I end up needing it.
Yep, a few of you might remember that a few months ago, I had to file a claim using just my phone 3 hours before a flight lol... Might be time I get a Bluetooth keyboard of some sort.
Hey dude, I've long given up on Overwatch.
I haven't played any games at all in the past few months lol.
If you do get a jump pack, some have usb ports and will work as a big usb battery which is a nice extra feature.
Sounds great.. I'll look for that too, thanks
Long time no see Dumblederp.
how often are you jumping your car?
Never had to, thankfully.
But have jumped my wife's friend once, and came across two scenarios requiring a jump this past month. I just helplessly watched a guy wait an hour for RACV to turn up lol.
Gooloo brand was recommended by Project Farm on youtube.
Will go check it out, thanks:)
Would a 1000A jump starter be enough to start most cars?
The question is less about jumping my own car (it's a 2L ICE), but more about, if a friend comes up to me or I see a random struggling with a dead battery, what are the chances 1000A is enough?
(don't want to spend too much money lol)
How come it's the only option?
If it's NBN then you can get pretty much any provider. Unless you have something like Opticomm or 5G?
Happy birthday Just_Kitten!! π₯³ππ°ππ
Ah no, I was mainly referring to the fact that you had a cold that didn't develop beyond mild symptoms.
My wife and I both used to have lots of symptoms before starting flu vaccines. After that, our illnesses have been milder than before.
There was one on the corner of Duggan St and Albion St, Brunswick West.
I rat run that intersection 8 times a week.
That intersection had "road closed" signs on all 3 sides, but in reality every time I drove around it at all hours of the day, it was open and cars were flowing freely.
So I just started ignoring it until they actually sealed it off and started digging 2 weeks later lol.
I'm actually wondering why today feels colder than any day in the recent weeks - that includes the coldest morning/day we experienced on 19th.
Yeah.. my wife and I both had the vaccine. Both got sick 2 or 3 weeks later but was relatively mild compared to previous years. (never took a vaccine until 2020ish)
You got the flu vaccine recently?
