Not gonna argue that it's not a waste of money to get a watch that expensive, but just having a watch is quite nice. Not having to fish my phone out of my pocket and click the power button every time i want to check the time is something i appreciate.
IIRC it's done entirely through the mental link, the "reciever's" body just fertilises the egg on its own, somehow using the dna of the partner. I assume it's transmitted through the link, but they also can't be using it like we do since all asari children are fully asari.
Respect, Tali is best girl for sure.
Well... the elves were the first awake sentient beings in middle earth. Before Illuvatar confronted Aulë about the dwarves they were essentially just bodies without proper minds, they couldn't do anything without him controlling them. I would argue that they weren't sentient. When Illuvatar granted Aulë's wish to grant them the secret fire he also put them to sleep, because elves were supposed to be the first-born and first non-ainur in the world.
Who was actually the first sentient race could be argued either way to me, since the dwarves were techically there first in body but weren't awakened to actually act as sentient creatures until after the elves had roamed the world for a bit.
All this is from memory, so apologies for any errors.
They do share an enemy: Israel.
You can post any story you want on there, and i mean any. It's possible that they have some very specific topics banned, but considering what I've seen on there i doubt it. Not surprised in the slightest that there are stories about a fairly major historical event such as that one.
Looks like it's from the search function on archiveofourown.org, a site mostly for posting fanfics
The light novel would be titled "That time I was reincarnated as a bug and got spooked by my own reflection, only to miss a class and almost not get together with the love of my life (another bug) by not passing"
At first glance the English language may seem reasonable, though through tough thorough thought it can be found that it is anything but.
Plenty of titties, just manly ones
The rare counterwhoosh in the wild, amazing
Gonna need a source on that one chief. In what way are they better than the rest of the nordics?
Hey you still had something left that could die? Impressive.
It's just one big meme, the names are all made up and likely don't reference any specific events.
Could you (or someone else here) expand on what that means? What were these cell lines used for on more concrete terms?
That is an outrageous creature. +10 stealth so you're not spotting it, which means it's gonna have advantage on at least one attack so it's likely to hit you, which means it crits you, which means you need to succeed on a DC 15 str save or you lose a limb. Str is often a dump stat for any character that doesn't use it to attack, so that's like 75% fail rate for most characters.
Not to mention that if you do lose a limb to it, you need some damn high level magic to get it back.
Where are they implying it's due to generational changes?
Now this is the kind of hard-hitting science i want
bud did you just completely skip over the part of the comment that says you should be careful about some stuff, like raw poultry or minced meat?
Holding long-term global warming to two degrees Celsius -- the fallback target of the Paris climate accord -- is now "impossible," according to a stark new analysis published by leading scientists.

Welp, it's official. Been a good(?) run everyone. Here is the paper that is referred to.
Edit: So, reading the actual paper, the article is somewhat sensationalized (shocker, i know). It is still possible to prevent collapse, but it requires extensive and fairly quick reduction of greenhouse gas emissions.
