  • Fuck Ted Cruz. Now that that's out there, I'm hesitant to believe that Israel didn't know anything about it. So you're telling me that:

a.) Mossad knew absolutely nothing about a potential attack that Egypt says was coming, b.) The Impenetrable Iron Dome just happened to be superty duperty penetrable this time, on this day, c.) That everyone thought it was a swell idea to hold a fucking rave on the border of a hostile group.

That's a lot of things to just not make sense in one clustetfuck situation. 3rd World Countries can track Hamas with ease - Mossad should be able to do it with their eyes closed. It literally doesn't make any sense. The only thing that would make sense is if they knew...they knew something was going to happen and were prepared to let it so that they had an excuse to go to war again, but didn't expect THIS. I don't know...it's not like Israel is exactly the wonderful good guy in this situation. Their oppression of Gaza is fucked up.

  • I wonder if they'll ever do Bootcamps for any other engineering positions. I mean a Bootcamp Electrical Engineer would be absolutely comical, but I could honestly see there being something like Bootcamp for specific focuses. For degrees like electrical, where the items you learn about in school are often outdated, offering some sort of "What's New" per field (microelectronics, processor designs, fiber optics, quantum computing, etc) might actually be pretty useful.

  • It wasn't intended to a be a "vulgar" rant.

Just realized you're the mod - you're just trying to add content and keep the page alive. I get it. It's just frustrating seeing some content like this - it's like the equivalent of someone saying they are OCD about being organized and missing the mark of what being OCD actually is.

  • Oh okay. Just accept that any and every normal human emotion and challenge falls conveniently under "adhd struggles" with zero questions or concerns.

I'm not allowed to be frustrated with anything in here as it may harsh your vibes. Got it. Makes fantastic sense.

  • This sub is weird. There's so many things that are posted here that are just normal things that people do. People lose motivation. People get distracted. People get derailed during conversations or activities. Yet, I feel like every single one of these things are co-opted by posters as "this is such a silly adhd thing that I do". No...it's fucking not. Your adhd may make it worse, but literally everyone does this shit. I'm not ragging on people with adhd, my issue is entirely with the quality of the posts here. It makes it look like normal shit that people do sometimes, or even something's that you do when your depressed gets brushed under this "adhd" catch-all. It's so frustrating to read posts from this sub sometimes.

Edit: sorry for being "vulgar". Mods are cool, and took steps to address concerns. +1 to them.

  • This is odd to me. Why the fuck would you hold a music festival right on the border of a known hostile group? I feel bad for these people, but who TF organized the event? The Israeli Military? This smells really fucking fishy to me.

  • Again, I'm not disagreeing with you about the good of public transit. I'm simply stating that car ownership is determined by how much money you have. The rich are allowed cars. You are not. That in and of itself is an unjust system regardless of how good or abysmal the public transit it. They are two totally different things.

  • "The information included origin estimation, phenotype, health information, photos, identification data and more."

"The researcher downloaded two files from the BreachForums post and found that one had information on 1 million 23andMe users of Ashkenazi heritage. The other file included data on more than 300,000 users of Chinese heritage."

Oh goodie. Now, crazy Trumpian goons can hunt down Ashkenazi Jews. Trumpland and associated ilk, have been crazy about them lately. That's fucking terrifying.

  • As someone who travels a lot, it's exhausting and incredibly expensive. Either it's short enough that you feel obligated to try and stay consistently busy or it's long enough that you begin to miss the familiar. I had dreams of trying to join the Century Club when I was younger - I'm about a 3rd of the way there, and the older I get the more I feel like I hate travelling due to how exhausting it is - dealing with airports is just the absolute worst. I'm worried that I'm going to get to retirement and just be done with it all and just become a hermit.

The sundial thing sounds awesome though.

  • I'm not disagreeing with you. But the only people that get the right to travel in a car are the rich. Rather than it be based on a needs-based system or lottery system. The rich get the right, but normal people don't. That's the point he's trying to make.
