I've learned to back off and realize that commas, instead of parentheses, often work just fine.

Remember kids, don't ever plug something in to your computer that you don't trust or are unsure about. Picking up flashdrive off the street and plugging them in is one of the easiest ways to get malware installed on your computer.

Al Jazeera has a fantastic track record over decades of newscasting. If the only issue you have with them is shit from almost 2 decades ago, then my argument still stands.

Edit: There's some major differences between the Arabic Arm (AJA) of Al Jazeera vs the English Arm, however it's rather fuzzy as if AJA is actually as Pro Muslim Brotherhood as they make it seem. It appears that countries int he Middle East ban them because they bring a lot of unwanted attention to the government. The other argument that people have tends to be that AJA is controlled by Qatar.

Israel kicking out AJA seems to be more aligned with the "wanting to hide things", as can be evidenced by their inclination to murder accidentally artillery strike, air strike, or bomb journalists.

So where's all the money going? I really hope this doesn't further increase the cost for residents.

Socialized Democracy is a more realistic switch, as it works well with what we already have and makes positive changes to our existing society. A better voting methodology (vs FPTP), higher taxes on rich and businesses, and better checks and balances on our elected officials is what most people are looking for.

I get that people longingly look at Socialism with dewy eyes, but there's no world in which we go through a paradigm shift of that magnitude and end up without hundreds of thousands of dead bodies. China, Russia, and every single other country in the world would be putting forth their best disinformation campaigns to manipulate what comes forth from the ashes of our country. There is no good outcome from that path, as I promise you that what regrows in place of Democracy will not be the paradise that you envisioned. Unfettered capitalism is the problem, why not fix that rather than burning everything to the ground in the hopes that something better could come along?

Yeah, I work in an underground lair in a barracks. It wouldn't benefit me either, so not much interest in supporting it. I'd rather we vote for faster escalators. Now that's something everyone can use.

I've had enough bouts with them. They don't believe people can be racist against white people, so any slurs or derogatory insults are totally okay. They also hate social Democrats - call them colonialists. That they want all the benefits of socialism without having to give up any of their illgotten gains.

Soooo, they just expect people to fully make the jump over to pure socialism/communism, no expectations of gradual change, and think hating on whitey is totes cool.

Their most vocal are essentially hindering the growth the greater collective with this bullshit, and if they ever want to see change in their lifetimes, then need to be realistic about it.

I'm not sure America or NATO really cares. Russia is crippling itself and shown it's hand - which is actively playing into Western interests.

Yeah, I could time the flips and almost 9 times out of 10 "guess" which side it was going to be. I'm not going to lie and say that I didn't game the absolute fuck out of that ability as a kid. We played street sports all the time, so it was pretty handy.
