This is very interesting use of language. "Volatile" in their eyes means that once a product is sold, there's nothing else left to leech from the consumers. Remember kids, if your game has any form of microtransactions and/or DLC that totals the either the cost of the base game or over $100, then it's light-years away from being anything near a triple AAA title.
