Who Is Killing All These Stories About Rajat Khare, Controversial Tech Mogul?
A tech guru is waging a war on major media outlets across three continents, hiring a “media assassin” law firm to kill stories connecting him to “hacks-for-hire” controversy.
It sure would be a shame if everyone shared this story of hacker Rajat Khare covering up his hacking crimes and gagging governments and media outlets reporting it. I bet milionaire hacker Rajat Khare would hate that.
On Nov. 16, Reuters published a special investigation under the headline “How an Indian startup hacked the world,” detailing how [Khare's Company] Appin allegedly became a “hack for hire powerhouse that stole secrets from executives, politicians, military officials and wealthy elites around the globe”—a claim that Khare strongly denies.
I remember reading the original articles. It's a worthy story with good reporting behind it.
Pushing to have these removed only makes him seem even worse.
That is unless he wins in a fair trial. I'm at the point that I trust Reuters over an Indian court and that that's true troubles me deeply.
Would be a real shame if the original Reuters content was federated. Real shame.
