  • Well, an ! is meant to be for a group, and an @ is for a person, but I'm not sure how they actually play out when you try and tag someone with an !

    • @ada I think I heard somewhere that ! means that the post wont be public but just targeted at the specific person or group. It can be seen by other though if they have a direct link to the post.

  • @anders So, you posted this comment from Friendica, directly to a lemmy community, something that I didn't know was possible, and haven't been able to replicate, so all bets are off. I have no idea how it works 😀
