Keyboard registry broken, keyboard not working anymore

After uninstalling VMWare Workstation Player my keyboard isn't working anymore. I found this old thread how someone managed to fix this but I have no idea which registry entries I would need to export to at least try this.

Does anyone know which entries they could have meant? I would rather not have to reset my Windows to be able to use my keyboard again.

I already tried running a SFC scan and a DISM scan to no avail.

Edit: Reinstalling Windows 11 without removing apps or files is possible and that also fixed my problem. At the same time it also fixed another issue I had which was "WslRegisterDistribution failed with error: 0x80041002 Error: 0x80041002 (null)" when trying to install Ubuntu in WSL2 because Hyper-V was unable to create the necessary virtual network adapter.
