Are those two identical potato mashers? Those will do very nicely to eventually fill the roll of “why the fuck won’t this drawer open??”
Nay, ‘tis a set of poultry lifters! The masher is in the main utensil drawer.
I did not know such a device existed. Here I’ve been lifting poultry with my hands like a sucker.
Yep, and he even remembered a loose knife! That way when you’re fishing your fingers under to try to get the drawer unblocked you can slice your hand open.
Classic junk drawer.
Very nice but you realize it's going to grow, right? I recently repacked my junk armoire to make some space for actual clothes.
I went all junk drawers a few years ago. Every drawer in the house. It might be an adhd thing
I do, and I’m ok with it 😂
TIL there are people who don't have a junk drawer in their kitchen.
What's next? Having a fridge without a freezer? A bathroom without a towel rack? A bedroom without a closet?
I assume these are lizard people. Or skin sacks full of spider aliens like Ted Cruz
That’s a terrible junk drawer. Totally needs a few rubber bands, some paper clips, a thumb tack and a small screwdriver that won’t fit any actual screws. The anti-diarrhea medicine is on point though.
My secret is, all my drawers are junk drawers
It's not realistic.
Kudos on the loose, sharp knife.
[Scrolling back to make sure I upvoted.]
Where's the plastic bag full of keys?
I’ve had the same truck for the last 14 years, so I haven’t acquired many
Also get a big jar and throw in a bunch of small random metal objects like nails, screws, nuts, bolts, washers, and anything else that looks like it could hang out in this crowd. If you assemble IKEA furniture, just use this jar as a dumping place for all the spare parts and hex keys.
Hey. Those hex keys could come in handy some day. You don’t know!!
Exactly! Though, I’m still waiting for the day when you need 17 hex keys simultaneously. Maybe when I move and ask my friends to assemble some furniture together?
Good attempt, though the hand blender needs to go at the back of the corner cupboard, just near enough that you can still see it, but far enough back that it's a pain to get out without removing several other items. Pills go in the medicine cupboard.
My medicine cupboard is very small, and needs to be replaced, and is very full
Ah, overspill, it's just perfect then.
I have the same stick blender, it works pretty well - spouse made me use it to make coffee foam today even.
It's great for caesar dressing, and other emulsions.
Get some dividers in there for the big stuff and it'll almost be organised
You need to make sure that the macerator is in such a position that you'll never be able to get the drawer back open.
Needs 82 random hardware pieces from IKEA furniture.
On it
So this is just me being paranoid, but, try to keep those batteries separate. It's very unlikely, but, I've seen the aftermath of a battery fire and its crazy.
Otherwise nice drawer, you've graduated to pro when you can't get I open lol
Ook? Are you perchance a Librarian?
I am not. I worked in the library in college for work study though!
Junk drawer? I thought every drawer was a junk drawer.
Let’s see you got the batteries that may or may not have charge, bottle of pills, you got the dried up tube of superglue, loose fixed blade knife…
Yeah looks like you got all the basics.
I’d recommend thou that some of those screws should be lose and rattling around the drawer, and see if you can’t get a key to an old Chrysler to throw in as well. Or maybe some pogs ( or a Pokémon card. The rarer the better)
Oh definitely. I did notice you’re missing a couple of rubber bands that are so old they’re kind of - melted? Or something?
If you want the melted rubber bands you got to throw in the bottle of goo-gone that’s just coated in oil. The rubber bands should be stuck to that bottle.
Wow, it has been a very long time since I've heard or seen any mention if those
I had the make you’re own pog machine growing up. It was pretty awesome.
