I think saturdays used to be workdays too.

  Probably Sundays too going further back. Was likely one of the big draws that was built into Christianity.
  
  Brb. Making a 3 day work week religion. Tithes are now 5%, but tax deductible as if it were 25% !
  
  That predates christianity, judaism already had sabbath. I wonder if that was an original feature when judaism first came into existence or if the concept of a regular rest day is even older.

- you can take shifts on the weekend it isn’t illegal
- If it wasn't for unions I could be working during religious holidays! Not working is communism.
- Personally I just go pillaging or tie dye stuff when I get antsy on weekends and other days off 🤷
