As a kid, the Geeta was the only religious text that was kinda attractive to me. I didn't understand much of the philosophy, but it's just so beautiful to read, and even more so to hear when someone reads it aloud for you. (My aunt used to read it, my parents weren't very religious. Me neither, but it's still just very beautiful poetry.)
