I'll feel phantom vibrations on my thigh when my phone isn't even in my pocket.
Sometimes I'll feel a buzz on my thigh, look at the phone on my desk, and then a new notification will come in. That shit freaks me out.
31 0 ReplyOf course, they happen the most when you are expecting something.
Back in the day it was an SMS or a call. Then maybe also an email if you had a good feature phone or a BlackBerry.
Now everything has an app and they just love notifications...
9 0 Replyyeah, sometimes it vibrates when there's no notification.. which is extremely weird since i have internet access and notification blocked for about any app. Haven't looked much since it's not so often tho.
6 0 ReplySame, and I know this is true and not just me being crazy because I've heard it rather than felt it when my phone is sitting on my desk.

Yes.
Which is odd because, since getting a keychain pedometer I actually don't keep it in my pocket or take it most places.
5 0 ReplyIt has nothing to do with cell phones, I felt them in my thigh since when cell phones were so big that putting them in a pocket wasn't an option.
It must be some sort of muscle spasm.

Yes, yes I do. It will vibrate, then I check it, no new notifications.
2 0 ReplyOn my hand. I have notifications off on my phone, they get delivered to my MiBand.
2 0 ReplyThat's just the NSA telling you they are there for you
1 0 ReplyNot so much anymore, but man, back in the Blackberry days they were NOTORIOUS!
1 0 ReplyYes, I've been feeling them since way way before cell phones were a thing.
1 0 ReplyI used to, but oddly it's stopped. I think it may be around the time I stopped having the ringer on by default, which is odd as the phone still vibrates.
