  • Most of the tech news places have been clean for me for awhile, that's why I'm genuinely confused for a second when people say that it's ad-infested 😅

I forgot The New Stack though was one that was getting a few through, now it's clean again

    Squeaky clean trash articles lol

    1. If block evasion was my goal, I'd just randomize each account name, it'd be far more efficient
    2. This is an old account
    3. Hm yes how horrible, 2-3 clicks and a mere second to add an account to your block. The horror.

  • There is no "one community" in the traditional sense, in fact many of us are boycotting contributions to their actual community/instance .ml

By contributing activity to comms on other instances and advocating growth on other instances and even advocating alternatives like PieFed, actually dilutes their influence

  • Colorado @infosec.pub

Uranium discovered in newly built Colorado dam pauses $600 million project

  • Absolute shit behavior, I expected better out of them. Throwing a grenade into the laps of your top mods to deal with is so so low.

I will be abandoning .world myself, I have already stopped posting from my .world account and will be recreating any comms I come across that don't have an off-world/off-ml alternative

  • Not necessarily, I'm a "try new things" type and do something similar.

Instead of ordering something, I'll often just ask the cashier/server to give me what ever they like.

Not because I can't make a decision, but because I want to try what someone elses favorite or safe foods are. Keeps things interesting when I'm out to eat since I already know what my favorite or safe foods are lmao

  • Like, we thought that's how you start dating.

I mean, it is if you want the cool couple backstory

"We bumped into each other at Chili's" ❌

"We were mortal enemies until our allies betrayed us on a mountain top in the wilderness and out of pure spite for our new enemies we forged a new alliance to survive and eventually found love" ✅
