US Catholic school fires teacher after husband’s obituary reveals his marriage to a man

Nonetheless, Richards said, all that his superiors would tell him was “you’re fired” after a parent – whose identity was shielded and whom the teacher presumed to be “disgruntled” – reported discovering his being mentioned in Messinger’s obituary.
Whose identity was shielded, you say? Perhaps not dissimilar from, say, a fascist ICE agent whilst committing crimes against humanity?

One mother, Katheryn Lee, told WDSU: “I would like to see the morality clause change.”
A father named Rick English told the station he believed the morality clause at the center of Richards’ dismissal is “a violation of human rights” that needed to be reviewed. “To me, it’s a social injustice at this point,” he remarked.
Would someone kindly explain why good parents are signing petitions and openly identifying themselves in a conservative Catholic school, located in a very red state, while a disgruntled parent filled with hate chooses to shield themselves?
It appears he is a much loved music teacher who the students admirably addressed as "Mr. Mark" and who served the school for 22 years. I will guess that this will go horribly wrong for St. Francis Xavier Catholic School in Metairie, Louisiana.
Because they know they are on the wrong side of history. It’s the same reason why ICE agents hide their faces.
This is a story of degeneracy, but not the gay music teacher's. People need to mind their own goddamn business.
A longtime music teacher...recently lost his job..., igniting a scandal within an archdiocese that has otherwise largely been occupied with trying to reorganize its finances in federal bankruptcy court after its clergymen spent decades sexually molesting children.
Ah yes, I can see they have their priorities correct.

the fact that there still is a catholic church is testament to how much people hate children
