Yeah, nah. A proper Italian pizzeria wouldn't have pineapple available as a pizza topping to begin with.
Unless you are getting pizza al taglio, or sicilian pizza, off the top of my head. There is even a popular napalese pizzeria that has a pineapple pizza. Italy isn't a monolith, and each region can vary greatly on how they make the same dish, or even what they consider to be traditional foods.
You also can't order toppings they don't stock, so if they were really against it, they'd just decline to stock it...
