Just wait until you find out astronomy uses pi=10.
45 0 ReplyWhat?! Why?
28 0 ReplyBecause when you’re dealing with measurements that are in the billions or trillions, you start working with orders of magnitude instead of specific numbers. A difference of a million miles is insignificant when the galaxy you’re measuring is 500 trillion miles away.
39 0 ReplyIn the presence of a supermassive black hole, pi gets bend.

I love how filth is in bold.
16 0 ReplyAs an O notation enjoyer, I don't get why people are so obsessed with constant factors. Is it exponential? Bad. Is it polynomial? Good. That's it basically.
12 0 ReplyAs a theorem prove enjoyer, I don't get why people are so obsessed with variables in their exponents. Is it undecidable? Bad. Is it decidable? Good. That's it fundamentally.

... do we really wanna keep using a literal Neo-Nazi's comics for memes, even if we're changing the text?
7 0 ReplyIt's making fun of the comic, so why not? It brands the comic as a meme template rather than idiotic political agenda.
21 0 Reply... do we really want to keep saying "this meme was originally racist and made by an asshole" under every goddamn meme?
Let's take their work, transform it so it spits in the face of their idiotic ideology, and have a laugh
11 0 ReplyYes. It's a great format and obscures the initial message so why not?

3 0 ReplyImagine someone who has his mouth wide open, tongue sticking up toward the roof of jis mouth, with his head tilted back as I screaming to the sky. You see the tongue and mouth from below due to perspective, as well as head tilt.

What engineer doesn't have a calculator just puts pi in there?
I have never, ever approximated pi (beyond what the calculator itself presumably does).
1 0 ReplyThat's horrible. Even an engenieur will use 3,14. pi=3, who actually say that ? That can't be true.
1 0 ReplyThe originsl artist is fash. Unfortunate, because they're talented and have a nice style.
They still get the wall tho.
