AI is ruining the internet | Drew Gooden

Sure, I'll give you that stuff like that is pretty cool, pretty niche though.

    Writer's block

Don't like it for this purely because LLMs are pretty much cultural poison.

    Entertainment

If you are entertained by this stuff for longer than 15 minutes you can try jangling keys in front of your face as a cheaper alternative.

    Creating avatars

Yea if you like to be represented by an ugly plagiarised blob.

    Green screen

No opinion on how viable or useful this may be as I don't really use green screens.

So basically, the pros of generative models are stuff that makes you go "cool I guess..." for 15 minutes and the cons are creativity and cool shit on the internet being drowned out by an oversaturation of idiots trying to make a quick buck.

  • He definitely focuses only on the worst ways that generative AI can be used without touching on any realistic takes from the other side

There just aren't that many... generative models are good at creating lots of garbage fast, this is mostly applicable for putting a lot of garbage on the internet in the hopes it somehow makes you money.

Legitimately a more pointless technology than bitcoin.

  • Cavernous Wailing - Sinclair E.G.O Kit reveal

    Seems decent.

I like the sinking/shield mechanic combo, I wonder how good it'll be with Dieci Rodya.

Anything is better than branch of knowledge though.

First real PC build, need help to make sure there's no space/comparability issues.

Hey, sorry if this is a bit too broad of a question but I recently got together a build.(link)

There was a warning that there might be space issues with GPU/Cooler on pcpartpicker.

Just wondering if there's anywhere I can check for sure if this is a concern before I buy any parts.
