It would be cool if the meaning of the things you say and do were decided by you but it's unfortunately decided by the current emotional state of the viewer AND how quickly the spin gets put on. If you say "a bullies parents shouldn't be executed" and the first 2 people to read your comment downvote you, vote momentum causes you to become wrong and a bullies parents actually should be executed. If someone says "she should be treated like the dog she is" and you point out dogs shouldn't be treated poorly, you get downvote because the misworded comment was directed at a shitty politician and you have to downvote anything that isn't lock step even if it's against animal abuse.
