Oh no, not spoilers for the plot of Doom. Now nobody will want to play it /s
- From what I understand it is actually the most plot heavy Doom to date, so some people might actually care.
  
  I mean, maybe. Doom 3 was pretty plot-driven too, but yeah. I guess my point is that the series is really all about fun gameplay.
- Hey guys, I think I saw some things that have, like, fangs and horns and stuff. Do you... Do you think there might be demons? In a DOOM game?
- I need to know the origins of the BFG.

That id software is now owned by Microsoft pisses me off way more than it should. I was already iffy when they were acquired by Zenimax.
And there's literally no one left of the original crew at this point.
I think I'm done with Doom, Wolfenstein and all that.
Rant over and sorry. It all just dawned on me when I saw the post.
- it sucks that half of my favorite studios are now owned by a company that makes it's money on literally killing people. i want to support the devs for the amazing games that they made but i don't want my money supporting that heinous shit.
- You can decide to be unhappy (or not). The old games will not be stolen from you, and all complains aside, there are far more good games on the market than 20 years ago.
  
  I know that and I'm happy that there is so much to choose from these days, simply because distribution isn't a big issue anymore. The indie scene has never been in a better place.
  It's a nostalgia thing. Plus, I'm against the whole "exclusivity" thing. And a bunch of other reasons, but it hardly matters.
  Sometimes you just need to vent your disappointment, you know?
What spoiler? You rip and tear until it's done.
