When my son was 1 year old he'd make a Vader breathing noise whenever he was really interesting in something. I used to call him Darth Curious.
11 0 ReplyHow long have you been sitting on that, Darth Haemorrhoid?
6 0 ReplyHow do the sith come up with these names anyways?
Are they always given by the master?
And what is the reason for doing this at all?
What does Darth Vader even mean?
17 0 ReplyAfter some googling, it doesn’t really seem like there is a lore/in universe explanation, which I find surprising after having the Disney EU and the legends EU. Some sith are named after a character quality, so maybe you could assume the dark side of the force revealed it to the master that named them?

Sith pick a non-evil sounding name challenge (impossible)
36 0 ReplyBut... That's like the whole point... No?
Like, imagine if a pope called himself Larry, just "Pope Larry", instead of picking the name of a saint
13 0 ReplyMaybe to the audience, but do the Sith believe they're evil? Does any evil person? Everyone is the good guy in their own story.

Darth Fluenza was already taken.
14 0 ReplyHe had been gaming that name out in his head for years at that point.
26 0 ReplyYou've gotta admit, it's catchier than "Darth YounglingMurderer"
19 0 ReplyI prefer Darth Academus
Also the whole catalog of star wars memes on that channel is amazing.
