Some US cities are canceling cultural events over fears of ICE raids and deportations
Communities across the country have canceled or scaled back cultural events due to President Donald Trump’s crackdown on undocumented immigrants.
For the past 45 years, Chicago’s Little Village neighborhood has celebrated Cinco de Mayo with a parade featuring Mexican bands, floats and dancers, and a festival at a local park.
But this year’s celebration, which attracts up to 300,000 people annually, has been canceled.
Can't blame em. Time for all of those amazing white cultures to step up and offer their incredible spicy ethnic foods for all to enjoy.

It's time for blue states to exercise their "state's rights" argument and prevent ICE from operating within their borders.
Not one single judge in this country would sign off on this.
States don't have the obligation to help enforce federal laws, but they also don't have the right to hinder the feds from enforcing their own laws. That's what the whole deal with "sanctuary cities" was all about- telling the feds that those cities weren't going to spend one dime of their budgets to help arrest immigrants, but they couldn't legally stop ICE from showing up and doing it themselves.

The Feds aren't following their own laws. They're doing whatever they please without warrants, breaking into vehicles and abducting people, which is not allowed by their own laws. They're breaking into homes without warrants and stealing peoples' property, money, and people, which is against their own laws. They ignore court orders if they don't want to follow them. The Gestapo is doing whatever it wants, ignoring the law.
So, in turn, their Federal laws are meaningless to states and the citizens of those states.
I still want to see some sort of honey pot for ICE and the other goons. Like leak there's going to be a big "illegals" celebration in a meeting hall, wait for them to show up, then lock the doors. Fill room with carbon monoxide. Let them pass out and die while looking for their victims.

Nitrogen would be better. CO and CO2 both affect the human body in negative ways that tells the person "hey somethings wrong" or confuses them enough into thinking they're fine.
The human body has no way of knowing if it takes in nitrogen though, so you can be perfectly fine conscious and happy one second, the air changes to nitrogen and suddenly you're on the floor unconscious. If nobody collects you in time, well your brain can't live without oxygen.
This is the wrong direction - ICE should be absolutely terrified of coming into any major democratic area.
If communities just took care of ice any time they congregated and refused to talk to law enforcement, the problem would be solved.

While yeah, I get it... I understand the choice- this, too, is a perfectly acceptable outcome by these uh well - nazis by a different name. They get to squelch celebration of other cultures and push their existence out of the public eye.
Don't let them win. They want "these people" off the streets and out of sight. Show them what actually makes America what it is, not what they want to pretend it should be.
