I'm looking for a midrange android tablet, exclusively for taking notes with a stylus in Obsidian. It doesn't need to be powerful, but just take good notes. The ideal size is anything 11'' and under. I would also appreciate if it isn't too bloated, and behaves similar to stock android. I have looked mostly into the Pixel Tablet as well as the Lenovo M11, P11 and K11. Other suggestions are welcome.
let me know if they're worth the price, been looking for an ereader tablet that has a long lasting battery - currently have a oukitel rt7 titan, the thing is a fucking BRICC (something like 2.3kg I think) but hey, its battery lasts literally weeks (28ish hrs ScreenOnTime, but thats about 17days of usage for me)
I haven't had an android tablet in ages, but I miss mine! I'd say check out what Samsung is selling, they are the only company that seems to be putting out good tablets in the last 5 years.
I'm not sure why Android tablets have struggled so much compared to the iPad, but I wish we had more competition.
Have a look at Teoh on Tech on YouTube. The man does solid reviews ona a tonne of android tablets. Gives his findings up front, then watch if you want to know more.
I refuse to buy a Samsung phone or tablet because they're usually overpriced and bloated as hell. But you're right that they're one of the few OEMs actually bothering with Android tablets.
All I want is an Android tablet with good performance that's supported by LineageOS for a few years.
My previous tablet was a POS from Lenovo. Garbage from day one, but it was supported by Lineage for a few years and let me consume media, which was what I wanted it for. Now I'm on the lookout for something else.
