I have a pixel 6a with graphene installed. I want to transfer everything to a second pixel 6a but the digitizer is toast. I tried mouse via usb a to c dongle to get in and back stuff up, but it doesn't work on lock screen presumably until it is unlocked once with the mouse plugged in, as with the new one.
really any backup method that can work will do if there are any.
A keyboard should work, type the passcode on the number pad.
Or https://github.com/Genymobile/scrcpy, it'll hide the lock screen but just type the passcode and hit enter. This may require already having enabled adb debugging though.
it won't even show up in adb. seemingly has to be unlocked once. I think I have no choice but to fix the screen.
I was going to comment this. I think there's a mode you can use that doesn't require USB debugging, it just won't mirror the screen.
It's the OTG mode. But if a real mouse didn't work, presumably because graphene is blocking new devices from connecting until unlocked, this won't work either.
