  Literally what I said when I saw this was not satire
That kid is scarred. For. Life.
- So I'm 34
  No joke
  I put the box spring right on the floor. My kid can't worry. I can't worry.
  Because if there was a dude under the bed or even a creepy crawly I would probably scream like a little girl.
- Kid: There's a monster under my bed.
  Lady: There isn't.
  Kid: Check please.
  Lady: Ok.... screams in terror
  
  I would totally do that even if there was nothing there.
