GEO Group, whose stock is valued at $4 billion, says that state minimum wage laws don’t apply to the cleaning services that it’s asked detained migrants to perform at facilities where they’re kept.

It’s an unsafe place to be. As a Canadian I will no longer ever set foot in the country as I don’t feel safe for myself or family.
Other countries are warning about avoiding travel to the US. I wholeheartedly agree with that sentiment.

13th Amendment legalized slave labor for prisoners. Not saying I'm happy about it, but there it is.
