It’s all double standards, all the way down

Trump is a piece of shit and his entire schtick hinges on the idea of people being so afraid they will comply on their own because he lacks the capability to force them.

Tankies generally praise authoritarian governments such as Russia or China and deny the wrongdoings of them. For example, they often push the Russian propaganda that Ukraine was "full of Nazis" and Russia did nothing wrong.

Just recently they started pushing the propaganda that Russia invaded as a simple "diplomatic maneuver"

Idk, but the root cause of this situation is the fact that border agencies have been allowed to just get access to everyone's personal devices. If you encrypt them, they wont let you enter. If you wipe them, they wont let you enter. The devastating consequences of these invasive rules have been predicted for decades and now we see that those predictions were spot on. If you give governments the tools to be authoritarian dictatorships, they will eventually use them.
