Nachdem der Name jetzt offen zur Diskussion freigegeben wurde, könnten wir ja auch unseren Beitrag leisten.
Off-topic fun fact: VW Golf and Jetta are named after the Gulfstream and Jetstream.
VW has a history of naming their cars after nature phenomenons. The Scirocco, Passat, Bora and Vento are all named after winds.
Their recent model names are a bit more "creative", with the Tiguan being a combination of Tiger and Leguan (iguana) lmao
And their newest models have the shittiest names they could come up with. ID.3, ID.4, ID.5, ...
Chrysler had a series of cloud cars. Stratus, cirrus and... Breeze. They ran out of clouds and took a wind.
I love it but I also want to make a well-intended rust joke.
