Mexico and Canada gave something that amounts to little, but enough that he can declare a win.
However, every MAGA moron in my neighborhood are crowing the exact opposite.
And they didn't like my observation that this was stupid and you idiots are going to lose very shortly as everyone will begin to diversify from us markets and imports due to this.
The likely conclusion that other governments will draw is that they can parry away tariff threats by giving the US the appearance of a victory.
The appearance of winning being more important than beneficial policy… You know what that sounds like?

Everything has been about appearances, each time they change their appearance to attract new followers, some cracks appear in the facade. That's how Musk went from a left-wing darling saving the environment to a Trump sycophant hated by the left.
It looks like the Canada Mexico tariffs were too distract from musk taking over the government.
