CNN’s Jim Acosta, an irritant to Trump, says he’s quitting rather than take a late-night time slot
CNN anchor Jim Acosta says he's quitting after nearly two decades rather than accept a move from a morning time slot to a less visible midnight at the East Coast.
CNN says its decision to move Acosta out of the daylight and into a time slot to begin at midnight Eastern time had nothing to do with politics.
Uh huh… it’s just a crazy coincidence that CNN happened to decide to hide their chief domestic correspondent in a midnight timeslot a week after Trump retakes office. It’s not a cowardly act of political subservience at all!
Probably ratings driven. CNN has so many awful people to push their agenda already, Trump has been baked in for years.

The publication described the new time slot as "the Siberia of television news" and said the move would amount to an "exile," hard to justify based on performance alone as Acosta's ratings "have historically been some of the network's strongest."
