Rollover says I just want to scroll videos. I would suggest loops but im have not used it and am not sure if it ever got to the point where it is federated.

- I really want to try Loops but I've never been able to successfully create an account.
  Enter the username, email, password, validate your humanity, and then get a message to check my email for new instructions. The email never comes so I'm stuck. Can't log in, can't use the "forgot my password" function.
  
  I was in the same situation, but eventually (like 3 days later?) the email did come. Idk if they're manually processing it or what but it can be damn slow it seems.

  They’re still working on it. All the dev is by a single guy, who also runs Pixelfed. He says he’ll be open-sourcing the code soon so more people can contribute and help get things going, but he wants to finish getting the web interface working first. And apparently he’s been spending a lot of time keeping everything online during the surge of interest, which has slowed everything down.
  
  Not following it closely but afaik on way to it, but not there yet.

The jury is still out on BlueSky, but I don't think that's going to go well.
If you can't find shallow, mindless media on Bluesky then you're not looking.
Also, just go on Rednote, ffs. I peaked in there and half the front page is just "Welcome Refugees! Learn hHow to monetize like you did on TikTok" which is soul-suckingly depressing and reminds me why I didn't fuck with Instagram or TikTok to begin with.

Also you can check nostr if you want something that has both twitter stuff + tiktok like videos, no account required either.

- doh. I will go fix. One thing that is nice about the federation is you can edit mistakes in posting which reddit annoyingly blocked. now watch I will be blocked. you will know if the date corrects :)
